EMS 101 Hands-On Workshop

Come learn and practice skills that are tremendously valuable for any pre-med student. Penn EMTs will demonstrate and teach important EMS (emergency medical service) skills using their own medical equipment, after which *you* will have the opportunity roll up your sleeves and practice!
Hands-on demonstrations inlcude:
* CPR technique / AED administration
* Maintaining cervical spine
* Performing a full-body physical assessment and exam
* Taking vitals (including blood pressure)
* Splinting techniques
* Alcohol related emergencies
All equipment is provided.
